How To Separate Aluminium From Wood Chips – Eddy Current Separator
Many industries use Eddy Current Separator equipment for non-ferrous metal replacement.
Recycling is now seen as a major challenge, legalized, and will continue to raise awareness of the environment.
Active discovery of non-ferrous metals is essential to the entire recycling process. Jaykrishna Magnetics Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of current eddy separator and with its advanced technology has met well this requirement.
It is not just a coincidence that various industries around the world are convinced of our highly efficient and durable equipment and choose their separation needs.
Eddy's Current Dividing Methods follow various processing stages to separate aluminum and wood alloys. For example crushing, splitting, and magnetic splitting.

WHAT IS EDDY CURRENT SEPARATION?
The current Eddy separation method is used to separate non-ferrous metals into non-ferrous parts. The separation process is based on the use of a magnetic rotor.
The material is placed on the transmission belt of the current eddy separator, which carries it across the magnetic field where the separation occurs.
Eddy current produces what causes the magnetic field inside the object and drives the material away from the conveyor.
At the same time, some items fall at the end of the sender, and the stainless steel is forwarded to the splitter for separation.
WORKING PRINCIPLE OF EDDY CURRENT SEPARATOR
How can Eddy Current Separator affect non-magnetic metals such as aluminum?
How can the Eddy Current Separator magnets be used to repel rather than attract?
Here is the way,

The magnetic field is a key component of the Eddy Current Separator to separate non-metallic metals such as aluminum, die-cast metal, and copper from non-metallic materials.
A magnetic field is a series of permanent earth masses mounted on a shaft attached to a shaft. Surrounded by a non-metal shell supporting the transmission belt that allows the rotor to rotate without the aid of a much higher speed than the shell and non-metal belt.
As aluminum particles pass over the separator, internal pullers rotate the aluminum at high speed. Speed creates an energy efficiency that separates the aluminum from the wood chips, which ensures the separation of waste and metal.
TYPES OF ROTORS USED IN EDDY CURRENT SEPARATOR
The magnetic rotor is the heart of the separation system.
The magnets used on rotors are:
Ferrite Magnet - Ready to separate different types of non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, plastic in the trash, copper, lead, and other alloys.
Rare Earth Magnet - With a 22-electrode frequency rotor, the arch structure can be used to filter municipal waste and recycle non-metallic metals.
With a frequency rotor of 16 electrodes, the prototype structure is suitable for separating stainless steel from large flow elements, such as solid debris, and stainless steel from the recycling of motor waste.
ADVANTAGES OF ECCENTRIC AND CONCENTRIC EDDY CURRENT SEPARATOR
Advantages of Eccentric Eddy Current Separator
- Ensures accurate magnetic field shifts where the material is stressed.
- The magnetic pole can be adjusted as needed.
- Improve the separation rate of small diameter materials within 5mm.
Advantages of Concentric Eddy Current Separator
- Cost-effective and can be used in separating materials larger than 25mm.
- Low failure rate, noise, and maintenance costs.
- Stable operation, precise and high recovery rate.
Eddy current separator can be used to remove non-ferrous metals in various industries, mainly including:
- Separation of iron and aluminium from wood chips
- Separation of non-ferrous metals in auto shredder residue
- Removal of non-ferrous contamination from crushed glass cullet
- Recycling of non-ferrous metals from municipal solid waste
- Separation of non-ferrous metals from plastics
- Separation of non-ferrous metals in scarp metal recycling plants
- Separating aluminum and ferrous flakes from PET flakes
- Separation of non-ferrous metals wire scrap recycling plants
- Separation of non-ferrous metals e-waste recycling, Zorba, E-waste recycling, and many more
